Maintain oversight of Catalyst governance changes, report regularly to the community, and develop a participatory, community-led change management process for use in Catalyst and beyond.
Build an open-source platform where the community can log and view changes to Catalyst governance parameters, including background detail, to enable ongoing community-led oversight.
In June 2023 Community Goverance Oversight released it's final report.
Community Governance Oversight provides oversight and analysis of Cardano's Project Catalyst experiment.
Legitimacy - the Fund 7 & 8 proposals together with the teams listed were successfully voted for in two funding rounds.
Transparency - meetings, proposal reporting and deliverables are all documented in this GitBook.
Accountability - Community Governance Oversight is accountable to ADA holders who voted for our proposal to deliver surveys, retrospectives and a final report for it's proposals.
Open Source - Community Governance Oversight is committed to using Open Source tools to document and track its activities. This GitBook is stored on this repository with an Apache 2.0 license.
